Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Bria has called Southwest Colorado home for nearly ten years in between monthslong stretches living and working across six continents. As an experiential educator, she led semester programs overseas for gap year and college students focusing on cultural and language immersion with themes ranging from environmental conservation to human migration. Now a journalist, she strives to tell stories of public significance while trail running, mountain biking, playing the fiddle and reading books in her spare time.
