Katie grew up exploring the Andes around Cusco, Peru with her family connected to Pachamama and the Apus. She especially enjoyed growing corn and potatoes with her grandparents, hiking the mountains with her geologist dad, and dancing for the Virgin Natividad with her cousins. Having moved to Telluride in 2019, she now loves exploring the San Juans, too. A high school student, she also enjoys robotics and musical theater. The best part of working at Ryder Walker has been helping others connect with nature like she has since she was little.
