Nikola is a well-rounded and well-versed guide with over ten years of expertise in adventure travel. Growing up during unsettling times in the Balkans, his passion for mountaineering began with summer and winter expeditions in the lesser-known regions of the Dinaric Alps. During his studies in Germany, he spent his summers embarking on solo mountain biking trips across the Alps, hiking through more than 100 alpine villages, tackling Via Ferratas, and summiting numerous peaks.
Since joining Ryder Walker in 2016, Nikola has traveled extensively throughout Europe, guiding trips from the northern to the southern reaches of the continent, including Iceland and Morocco. He speaks five languages and is the father of two wonderful children. Nikola currently lives with his family near Oslo, Norway.
