Having graduated from Columbia University mid-pandemic, Zita jumped right into the world of New York City publishing—nitpicking by day, and chasing socially-distanced live music by night. Sick of the crowds, she headed west, landing on the wild Western Slope of Colorado. When she’s not busy at Ryder-Walker mapping out trails or triple-checking trip details, you’ll catch her running up mountains in the morning, jumping into cold rivers by noon, and working on her western novel late into the night. Life in a small town suits her, but connecting with far-off places and the people drawn to them keeps her world wide open.
